The postcard which my dad wrote to setup his first visit to Allentown, PA to meet my mother … I am not sure which plan happened … if they left on Friday night or Saturday morning. I do know that they did arrived in Allentown and they had a fun filled weekend double dating … My dad with my mom (future that is) along with Aunt Lucy and Charley Daniels … highlights included: an airplane ride, a hike to Big Rock and a visit to the local amusement park, Dorney Park.
